14th Annual Irish Festival March 3-4 at the German American Club

The 14th Annual Irish Festival will be held Saturday, March 3, from noon to 8 p.m., and Sunday, March 4, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., at German American Social Club, which is located 2101 S.W. Pine Island Road, Cape Coral, FL 33991.

Sunday's festival activities open with Roman Catholic Mass.

The public is invited to "Celebrate All Things Irish" at the two-day family festival featuring Irish and Celtic music, dance and song. The Boy Scouts and 4th Degree Knights of Columbus will also participate along with the Lee County Pipes & Drums Band.

There will be a Children's Tent, kids 3 - 12, with free face painting, games, arts and crafts.

For the adults, there will be Guinness Stout, Smith-wick's and Harp imported beer on tap, plus 50/50 raffles and chance to win trip for two to the Emerald Isle.

Discounted festival tickets are available at the Cape Farmers Market every Saturday until Feb. 24.

Parking at the German American Club is free. Sorry no pets/no coolers.
