Catholics Returning Home series under way at St. Katharine Drexel

Catholics Returning Home is under way through May 22 at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church in Cape Coral. The six-week series, which began Monday, April 17, is being presented by lay members of the parish on Mondays from 7-8:30 p.m., in the Faith Formation building.

The sessions are for non-practicing Catholics who are seeking answers to questions about returning to the church. All are invited to join the conversation.

Celebrate Earth Day at Saint John the Apostle MCC

Saint John the Apostle Metropolitan Community Church is bringing back, by popular demand, its Nature's Gallery plant and art sale, which will be held on Earth Day, Saturday, April 22, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Admission is free! Lunch and beverages will be available for sale.

Saint John the Apostle MCC is located at 3049 McGregor Blvd., between Coconut Drive and Braman Avenue, in Fort Myers.

Trees, shrubs, euphorbia, cactus and other flora will be offered for sale, plus jewelry, pottery, paintings, photography and yard art-much of it inspired by Florida's natural surroundings!

Donations of plants and art are welcome. Please contact the church office at 239-344-0012 for more information.

Proceeds raised from this event will benefit Saint John the Apostle's Capital Campaign.

Gateway Trinity Lutheran Church raises $45,500 for local charities

Gateway Trinity Lutheran Church's sixth annual Charity Golf Tournament raised $45,500.

One-hundred percent of the proceeds will be split evenly between the Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida and Community Cooperative. The event was held at Gateway Golf and Country Club on March 18.

Based on community support, last year, GTLC pledged to raise $200,000 during the next five years to be split between the Golisano Children's Hospital and Community Cooperative.

Gateway Trinity Lutheran Church is a multi-generational community that offers ministry for all ages through youth programs, Bible study and various small groups. Services are held Sunday mornings. For more information, visit www.gtlc.org.

MarriageRestored Weekend May 5-7

Are you or couples you know struggling with a troubled marriage? Hope and help can be found at Marriage-Restored!

MarriageRestored is a weekend program for couples who have experienced adultery, addiction, pornography, separation or other marriage-threatening circumstances, and it is a weekend of hope for couples in crisis.

All faiths are welcome.

Each MarriageRestored weekend is conducted by a team of couples who have been trained to present the weekend program. The MarriageRestored weekend is scheduled for May 5-7, at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Estero. For more information, visit www.marriagerestored.com

A non-refundable registration fee of $75 is required to secure a reservation.
