City needs to look in-house first

April 21, 2017
Cape Coral Daily Breeze

To the editor:

This is to respond to Councilmember John Carioscia about Charter schools:

First, this city should not be involved in the education of our children, we have a school district that we pay taxes to for that. We should get the city out of the school business; they can't even deal with our electric company.

Second, if he wants to talk about "incompetence," he should look at the city manager's office - if any place needs an audit, it his office and perhaps we could start with all the tax money that this city is wasting. Let's have an audit before the election to see what they are doing with our tax dollars and how much they are wasting.

Let's see if Carioscia will call for a audit of the city done by the state. I don't think he will because it will just show the incompetence of some of the people we have in top positions in this city.
