To the editor:
Dear Fellow Cape Coral Citizens:
Just in case you haven't noticed, we have a very important election coming up. On Tuesday, Nov. 5, we will elect the Mayor of Cape Coral, the person who will be the leader of our fair City for the next four vitally important years.
Only 3 percent of registered voters turned out for the primary in September, but as a result, we have a decision to make between two candidates.
Only one candidate represents the future and a vital vision for the City in which we live, work and play, and her name is Marni Sawicki.
We very much need a new leader who will promote, market, lead and assist Cape Coral to be the beautiful, thriving town we deserve. Marni Sawicki is that leader. She is the new Cape Coral breeze, the breath of fresh air we needs.
Marni Sawicki is the mayor who will lead our City into the next generation of greatness, with high-quality jobs and a strong emphasis on education, new business, safe streets and an open and honest City government.
Marni grew up in a family familiar with public service and understands the importance of giving back to the community. She rightly believes it is our responsibility to invest everything we have to help make our City the most innovative, dynamic, safe and thriving City for us and for our children, grandchildren and generations to come.
"Now is the time for a new generation of leadership to fulfill Cape Coral's destiny, while charting our way through difficult economic times with fiscal prudence and a focus on education and new business." - Marni Sawicki
It's your town. It's your turn.
Vote on Nov. 5th for Marni Sawicki, the next Mayor of Cape Coral.
