Penza no longer with Realtor Association

of Greater Fort Myers and the Beach

The Realtor Association of Greater Fort Myers and the Beach announced this week that Chief Executive Officer Terese (Terry) Penza is no longer with the association.

"The position of CEO is an important one," said Association President Doreen Falcone. "The association is in the process of identifying a new CEO to fulfill the needs of the membership by bringing new ideas and leadership to the table. We are looking for a dynamic individual with the spirit to move the Association forward as our membership continues to grow."

The Realtor Association of Greater Fort Myers and the Beach is a member-based organization of 4,400 members founded 90 years ago. As a Community of Realtor Excellence, its members are dedicated to serving current and future property owners as members believe that home ownership is the essence of a great community.

Neal Communities reports 65 sales

in September

Neal Communities blazed through the summer season and finished the third quarter of 2013 with strength breaking last year's record 442 home sales ahead of schedule. The new-home builder had 65 sales in September, including eight at the new Villa Palmeras in Estero, climbing to 657 total so far year to date.

The greatest contributor to Neal's home sales in September was the fast-selling and popular community Central Park at Lakewood Ranch with 12 sales. Last month Neal also sold 11 homes at Grand Palm, a master-planned community in Venice with a variety of amenities.

Other notable numbers and communities include nine home sales at Sugar Mill Lakes, Neal's newest community in Palmetto; and six homes at Woodbrook in Sarasota.

Lakewood Ranch-based Neal Communities has recently announced several new communities coming during the fourth quarter of 2013: Coastal Key in Fort Myers at the beginning of November; Canopy, which is located in Naples, opening near the beginning of December; and Eagle Trace, located off SR64 also opening at the beginning of December

Neal recently acquired acreage in Nokomis for a project set for development in 2014.

23 lots sold in Phase 2

of Country Lakes

LeeCorp Homes reports the sales rate has reached 74 percent in Phase 2 at Country Lakes as 23 out of 32 manufactured home lots have been sold. Country Lakes is a 55-plus deeded lot ownership manufactured home subdivision on Country Lakes Drive, north of Luckett Road, Exit 139 off Interstate 75, in Fort Myers. The average lot size is 77 by 160 feet. Lots are priced between $14,900 and $34,900, with land and home packages priced from the low $100,000s.

Three model homes are featured at Country Lakes, all built by Jacobsen Homes of Safety Harbor, Fla. The Cypress is located at 5383 Countrydale Court, and is priced at $124,900. The Pelican is located at 9789 Creekwood Lane, and is priced at $149,900. The Regatta is located at 9790 Creekwood Lane, and is priced at $159,900.

Tidewater model earns Collier Building Industry Association honors

Neal Communities won the 2013 Sand Dollar Award in two categories for its Tidewater model at Villa Palmeras in Estero during award ceremonies hosted by the Collier Building Industry Association Sept. 28 at Waldorf Astoria Naples.

The Tidewater multifamily home earned the Sand Dollar Award for both Product Design and Interior Design of the Year for a multifamily home, $200,000 - $299,999. The Tidewater features 1,524 square feet of living space with two bedrooms, two baths, great room and den, plus a two-car garage.
