Sunset Sweets has arrived in Southwest Florida

Sunset Sweets is the newest dessert spot in the area, offering fresh frozen custard daily along with complete catering services for weddings, parties and engagements delivered in the coldest way imaginable!

"Sunset Sweets is the newest craze in ice cream and frozen custard, and we think it will be a huge hit with Southwest Florida," Sunset Sweets owner Jason Fry said. "Our product testing sessions have been wildly successful, and the marketplace is ready to see more awesome dessert options.

"It is a show, because you see the fog, the smoke and you see your ice cream being made. But that first bite will tell you that it is also the smoothest, creamiest, freshest ice cream, custard, sorbet or gelato you have ever had."

That's smoke, as in liquid nitrogen - the cold-as-heck steamy stuff that makes and instantly freezes ice cream right in front the eyes of gawking customers.

Sunset Sweets has opened at the new Sun Cup Golf Center (formerly Daniels Driving Range), at 13451 Brookshire Lake Blvd., at the corner of Daniels Parkway and Six Mile Cypress. Sunset Sweets' flash frozen confections are available from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, with fresh confections made Monday-Friday from 4 a.m - 8 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from noon-8 p.m.

Sunset Sweets is Jason Fry's latest Southwest Florida business venture. The Fort Myers native owns four Batteries Plus locations across Southwest Florida, Sun Cup Golf Center, Southside Gators Real Estate, and Sunset Sweets, and founded the annual Sun Cup amateur golf tournament that will enjoy its third year in 2014.
