The 6th annual Peace Day in the Park will be held Sunday, Sept. 22, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., in Jaycee Park in Cape Coral. This grassroots community event has grown stronger and more vibrant every year with features musicians, artists, performance groups and vendors all sharing their personal vision and expression of peace.
In honor of the International Day of Peace and in collaboration with the organization Peace One Day, the intent of the celebration is to think peace, cultivate peace and help it grow.
Peace Day in the Park is a free family and pet friendly celebration. The event will feature live music, art, food, crafts, face painting children's bounce house, meditations and workshops, Qigong and a one-of-a-kind raffle,
The Big Red Bus Bloodmobile will also be on site to collect blood donations.
Exhibitors may sign up anytime but spaces will be allotted in accordance with availability in each category so as to maintain a balance.
