June 7, 2013
Special to the Breeze , Cape Coral Daily Breeze

Thursday's doubleheader between the Fort Myers Miracle and Brevard County Manatees at Hammond Stadium was canceled due to rainy conditions brought on by Tropical Storm Andrea.

Since the two teams are not scheduled to meet again in Fort Myers this season, neither game of the doubleheader will be made up. The doubleheader resulted from their game on Wednesday being postponed also.

The Miracle remain 40-17 on the season and hold a 10-game lead in the South Division standings over the St. Lucie Mets. The Miracle are scheduled for one game at Bradenton on Friday before returning to Hammond Stadium for a return match with the Marauders Saturday night.

Fans with tickets to Thursday's game can exchange their tickets for any other non-fireworks night game at Hammond Stadium this season free of charge. Fans who want to exchange their rain-out tickets for a fireworks game can do so for a $1 upgrade.

Exchanges can be made prior to any game at the stadium box office or i then third-floor Miracle office between 9 a.m.- and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

For tickets or more information on exchanges, call (239) 768-4210 or visit www.miraclebaseball.com.
