Well, actually, Linda, most Americans don't know they pay artificially low prices for all kinds of food because of government subsidies to farmers. It's really a shame that folks think the Farm Bill is only about food stamps - they're in for a huge sticker shock at Publix if this bill doesn't pass. And $7.00 milk will just be the beginning.

Now we have the Farm Act Bill coming up for a vote and no one is mentioning it... but why should we care.. we have no representation, because the GOP won't take the bull by the horns and do the right thing.. waiting on the results of Radel's re-hab is sad. what if his treatment doesn't work and requires more time? Pressuring him to get better in 30 days is a No-No ! the Voters in SW Florida insist on a replacement NOW.. let's Get It Done! We will soon be paying huge dollars for a gallon of Milk is wrong..tick tock

Who is providing him cover in the GOP House?

Who is likely to have simpatico with Radel, that is with power and a history of glug glug glug....and breaking into tears anytime the separation from the bottle gets over much?

You know…the guy who got his work ethic growing up "working in his dad's tavern"....boo who who! Who is infamous for passing out tobacco checks on the floor of the HR before a vote on tobacco legislation?

Yep - old Trey will be in training as a bag man for his remaining months in congress. Then they'll find him a place as a lobbyist.

Be proud America! He fits right in, in a system where a handful of the super wealthy decide who makes our laws. If you occasionally notice your paycheck relative to cost of living gets skinnier and skinnier this is where you should look for answers why.

Avatar, if he left office could anyone ever believe a word he says? I think we're going to find out there's a whole lot more unsavoriness to be discovered about Radel.

Phil, I guess he is the only one to soil the halls of Congress!! What about present and passed "Run-a-foul" members and past and PRESENT Presidents who used drugs, (and maybe still using) ruining our lives.

Phil - Radel would and will engage in more egregious acts. He is corrupt. He left journalism because he couldn’t live by the ethics of the profession.

He was lapped up by the corporate owner of WINK and Talk Radio (one and the same) to lend credibility to their vile messages to deceive and propagandize the faith based and so-called conservative working class.

Just like his predecessor Mandy Connel and his successor Drew Steele he sat in that seat spewing Corporatism under the guise of patriotism and conservative religion.

Those people are no better than the legions that precede them, like the Enron and Countrywide executives and Gramm, Leach, Bliley, who wrote legislation to repeal the Glass Steagal Act.

This guy needs to taste the fruits of his corruption and be forced to live low and honest.

He is a fraud and not even a good one. I’m embarrassed my region was so easily duped by such a lowlife.
