If you look at the latest Campaign Treasury Reports you will see that Marni's donors are predominantly citizens. Not Union or business PACs, or through self loans.

Lolita the taxes are regressive and pull more of the small amount of expendable income from the people. Many of those people depend on the service industry establishments to have patron who tip.

They are calling for 20% tip on a guest check. Many will be lucky to receive 10% and their volume of tips are going to wane from less foot traffic in these businesses. Hard to believe the Lee County Restaurant Association has not weighed in on this regressive tax.

For that matter why so few Cape Coral businesses have weighed in on these. I guess they will by April of 2014 when they find out they have to close their business or do all the jobs to keep their place open.

VOTE FOR THOSE WHO WILL CONTINUE FORWARD, NOT BACKWARDS AS HAS BEEN DONE. Absolutely, vote and vote wisely. Not for Sullivan and Leetz.

Oh and to the residents who vote and think they need not vote.

I guarantee you will pay the ELECTRIC UTILITY TAX monthly on your electric bill.

You will pay for the Fire Assessment Tax through icreased rent.

When your landlord's Real Estate Tax increases you will pay that increase in your rent.

These 3 issues are Why You NEED To Vote.

Tell your parents, aunts, uncles, friends THEY NEED TO PROTECT THEIR FINANCIAL WELL BEING!

For the residents who were discouraged by the long lines at the last presidential election.

THERE WILL BE NO LINES whether voting early or on election day.

TO even avoid having to go to a poll request a MAIL IN ballot. Vote from the comfort of your home and by mailing you will save the fuel and the wear and tear on your vehicle.

VOTE! IT IS NOT A PRIVILEGE...IT IS YOUR CIVIC DUTY AS AN AMERICAN CITIZEN!!!
