Korean War Veterans Association

The Korean War Veterans Association, Southwest Florida Chapter 155, meets for lunch every Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at the Southwest Florida Veterans Military Museum & Library, 4820 Leonard St., Cape Coral. Veterans from all conflicts are invited as many World War II and Vietnam veterans attend on a regular basis.

KWVA Chapter 155 holds monthly meetings on the first Tuesday of the month at 12:30 p.m. at the Southwest Florida Military Museum. If you are a Korean War veteran or Korean Defense veteran serving any time in Korea, you are welcome to join the association.The KWVA supports local 501(c)(3) organizations, veterans in need and offers local college scholarships for veterans and families.

My HealtheVet Program

The My HealtheVet Program at the Bay Pines VA Healthcare System is a free online medical resource that is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, from anywhere in the world.

The program can help veterans with:

* Refilling VA medicine prescriptions

* Viewing laboratory tests

* Managing personal wellness remind-ers

* Scheduling VA medical appointments, to include viewing past and future appointments

* Accessing provider/clinician health care notes

* Viewing radiology reports/images

* Communicating directly with health care teams using a secure email known as secure messaging.
