Dickey sets school record in kills for Red Knights

North Fort Myers 3, SW Florida Christian 0: Katie Dickey set a new Red Knights record for career kills with 11 on Thursday. Dickey came into the match needing four kills to surpass former North star Jessica Wagner (812), who went on to play volleyball professionally. The senior now has 101 for a career total of 819, with the rest of the season to raise her mark even higher. With their 25-12, 25-22, 25-9 win at SFCA, the Red Knights (5-3) snapped a three-match losing streak while handing their opponents their first (4-1).



Oasis 3, East Lee County 0: The Sharks improved to 2-4 with a 25-10, 25-12, 25-13 sweep of the Jaguars.


Cape Coral girls 5, Dunbar 0: The 4-0 Seahawks were led by Jasmine Salavics with a 214 game.

Island Coast girls 4, Lehigh 1: Ariana Thomas (194) and Taylor Fabrizzi (191) led the Gators (4-0).

Island Coast 781: Ariana Thomas 194, Taylor Fabrizzi 191, Zoe Sedorchuk 170, Denver Boxleitner 135, Divine Johnson 91.

Lehigh 585: Alyssa Santiago 167, Dosi Gonzalez 119, Freya Turner 110, Katy Bates 104, Shawna Werner 85.

Tritons sweep East Lee: The Jaguars did not field a boys' team, giving Mariner a default victory. East Lee had a partial team, forfeiting the game to the Tritons. The girls still held a scrimmage, wtih Mariner winning head-to-head and East Lee County taking the Baker games. Both boys and girls for Mariner will face Cape Coral on Monday.

Bishop Verot boys 3, Riverdale 2: The Vikings rallied for the win by sweeping the Baker games. Enzo Vall-Llobera led Verto with a 210 game, and Tannewr Filla bowled a 202.

Boys golf

Ida Baker 172, Cape Coral 211: Greg Moore's 2-over 38 led the way for the Bulldogs.

Canterbury 173, Oasis 227, Bonita Springs 231: Briar Little paced Oasis with a 53 total.

Oasis: Briar Little 53, Jacob Haley 57, Eric Feichthaler 58, Jimmy Cain 59. Also: Connor Woodham 63, Steven July 73.

North Fort Myers 187, Mariner 201: North's Aiden Denlinger carded a 40 to pace the winners. Clayton Weaver led the Tritons with a round of 49.

Mariner: Clayton Weaver 49, Austin Westling 50, Simon Westling 50, Barry Stout 52.

North Fort Myers: Aiden Denlinger 40, Samuel Lakes 48, Sean Torrico 49, Daniel Berkley 50.

Girls golf

Canterbury 146, Oasis 159: Alyssa Fritz had a round of 45 for the Sharks.

North Fort Myers v. Bonita Springs v. Mariner: No team scores.

None of the three schools had complete team. Mariner's Mackenzie Paolino fired a 38 on the par 33 Magnolia Landing course. Kara Perchal carded a 57 for the Tritons.
