Early access to Tip-Off tickets starts Tuesday

2019 Rocket Mortgage by Quicken Loans Fort Myers Tip-Off starts Nov.25

September 6, 2019
Cape Coral Daily Breeze

Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 10, residents of the Southwest Florida community can receive early access to 2019 Rocket Mortgage by Quicken Loans Fort Myers Tip-Off Full-Tournament tickets, a week before they will be available to the general public.

In order to receive early access to full-tournament tickets, fans must visit and complete the online form by 11:59 p.m. ET, Monday, Sept. 9. An email from the tournament will be distributed to registered members on Tuesday, Sept. 10, with a presale code and instructions on how to access tickets during the presale.

The presale will be available until full-tournament tickets become available to the general public on Wednesday, Sept. 18.

Full-tournament tickets include one ticket for each day of the tournament, one for both semifinal games and the other for the third-place and championship games. Semifinal match-ups, scheduled for Nov. 25, include Pitt squaring off with Kansas State at 6 p.m. and Northwestern taking on Bradley at 8:30 p.m. The third-place and championship contests will be held in primetime on Nov. 27 with game times announced next week. Every game of the Rocket Mortgage Fort Myers Tip-Off will be televised by FS1.

Single-day tickets, based on availability, will go on sale in late October.

Pitt and K-State have faced only once, with the Panthers defeating the Wildcats 70-47 in Maui in 2014. The reigning Big 12 Champions, K-State has put together consecutive 25-win seasons for the first time in program history, and will face a Pitt squad led by sophomore Xavier Johnson, who was named to the 2019 ACC All-Freshman Team in a conference loaded with Top 100 recruits.

Northwestern owns an 8-1 all-time edge in the series with Bradley, but it was the Braves who earned a 76-72 win in the most recent meeting between the programs in 1985. Fresh off its first MVC Tournament title in 31 years, Bradley will take on a Wildcat program that welcomes one the most highly anticipated recruiting classes under seventh-year coach Chris Collins.
