No prize

To the editor:

Despite the headlines of a local newspaper the day following Michael Cohen's testimony before Congress on our President and the cartoon on the same day, not much was said about our president that we didn't know. The people of this country knew Donald Trump years before he ran for president.

So why did the Republican Party chose him as their candidate? Because he could deliver them a win and the power they desired. Character doesn't matter to them. Nothing can be too foul.

Everyone should see the movie "Vice," and everyone should listen to the interview on public broadcast radio of the star actor and director of the movie "Vice." Who we vote for does matter.

We need a course, (urgent), Course 101, "How to choose a leader." The political party doesn't seem to be able to do that.

That same political party flunked out again. Now they are having a political revelry at the expense of our country and the world.

Sorry, no Nobel Peace prize winner.
