Cre8 Salon & Spa #BeautyBootcamp to benefit ACT

November 9, 2018
BY MEGHAN BRADBURY (news@breezenewspapers.com) , Cape Coral Daily Breeze

The second Cre8 Salon & Spa #BeautyBootcamp is scheduled to take place this weekend, complete with six stations that will help attendees perfect their look for this holiday season.

"This is a can't miss event if you want to look your best for all the holiday parties and events coming up over the next few months," Cre8 owner Marcy Sagorac said. "You'll learn ways to freshen and maintain your appearance along with cutting-edge trends and timeless styles, and you'll have a chance to support a good cause as well."

Sagorac said last year they held the event for the first time and had a really nice turnout.

"We did $2,000 last year," she said of raising money for Abuse and Counseling Treatment Inc. "We are hoping to do more this year."

The event was inspired by one of Cre8's stylists, Cindy Butler, who is an advocate of domestic violence. Sagorac said she lost her sister to domestic violence and ACT is a charity near and dear to her heart.

The event, she explained, is putting good information out to the community, while learning about the salon's services, all while raising money for a charity.

"It means the world to me. It's full circle," Sagorac said.

#BeautyBootcamp will be held from 1-5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, at the salon located at 814 S.W. Pine Island Road. It is $20 to attend; $30 for those who wish to have a hands-on, one-on-one hairstyling lessons from Cre8 stylists.

Everyone who attends will receive a special tote bag full of samples and savings.

"We are so excited," Sagorac said.

The stations will feature representatives from the Contemporary Health Center, Jane Iredale Makeup and HydraFacial Company, who will showcase their latest beauty enhancing procedures. In addition, those in attendance will learn about the services now offered at Cre8, such as botox, anti-aging laser treatments, painless laser hair removal, wellness therapy and erectile dysfunction therapy.

Hairstyling demonstrations using hot tools for curls and straight looks, as well as creating trendy buns and stylish braids will also be apart of #BeautyBookcamp.

Other event highlights, Sagorac explained, are the raffle and silent auction items, which are benefiting ACT. She said attendees can purchase raffle tickets and place them in the jar of their choice for a chance to win such items as an iPad, gift cards, baskets and free Cre8 services.

"All we want is for people to show up," Sagorac said.

Those interested in attending can RSVP on Facebook.com/Cre8salon #BeautyBootcamp event page, or by visiting cre8salon.com, or by calling (239) 458-2704.
