Cape Friends of Wildlife to present ‘Toxic Puzzle: Hunt for the Hidden Killer’ documentary

Join Cape Coral Friends of Wildlife for a screening of the award-winning documentary, "Toxic Puzzle: Hunt for the Hidden Killer," a film by director Bo Landin and narrated by Harrison Ford.

On their quest to learn more about toxic substances produced by cyanobacteria, Dr. Paul Cox and his team discover a link between cyanobacteria (present in blue-green algae) and ALS, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's.

Following the screening, John Cassani, a Calusa Water-keeper, will answer questions from the audience.

The screening will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 22, at the Cape Coral-Lee County Public Library, 921 S.W. 39th Terrace, Cape Coral.

Admission is free, but seating is limited, so attendees are urged to register early on any of the following:, Event Brite, Cape Coral Friends of Wildlife Facebook page and Twitter.
