Griswold Home Care Southwest Florida recently presented The Harry Chapin Food Bank a grant from the Jean Griswold Founda-tion. The grant will go toward the food bank's Care & Share Senior Feeding Program, which provides canned fruits and vegetables, canned protein, grains, cereal, and fresh produce to around 2,200 needy seniors each month.

The Jean Griswold Foun-dation, named for Griswold Home Care's founder, was created in 2010 with the mission of supporting nonprofits that build, strengthen and sustain programs that enhance the quality of life for low-income and elderly adults.

The Harry Chapin Food Bank, with locations in Fort Myers and Naples, provides about 22.3 million pounds of fresh, nutritious food and other essentials each year, to about 28,000 people weekly.
