Rotary Club of Cape Coral recognizes six Cape High seniors

The Rotary Club of Cape Coral recognize six high performing seniors from Cape Coral High School during its recent 2018 Student Recognition Program. Each student represented one of three categories: Academics, Athletics, and Activities.

In addition, the students were asked to write a brief paragraph on what "Service Above Self" means to them. Based on committee review and vote, two students tied for the 2018 Rotary of Cape Coral Student of the Year: Madison Aubuchon and Samantha Royall.

The 2018 students recognized this year in alphabetical order are as follows:

Each student recognized was given a certificate of recognition, a $50 gift card, movie gift card and a gift certificate for IRigazzi Pizza. In addition, Aubuchon and Royall each received a $250 gift card for being chosen as Student of the Year.

Rotary Club of Cape Coral is a not-for-profit organization responsible for several community projects and events, including the Cape Coral Festival of the Arts, the Cardboard Boat Regatta, a dictionary project for third graders and Rotary Park in downtown Cape Coral. During its 50-year history, Rotary Club of Cape Coral has been one of the most influential service organizations in Southwest Florida and has counted among its members many of Lee County's finest community and business leaders.
