Cape’s Materiale earns top spot and runner-up finish in two weekend Hooters swimsuit contests

Hooters Girls competed in a local swimsuit contest vying for Miss Hooters International Friday, March 23, at the Hooters in Naples. Mariah Materiale from Cape Coral won 1st Place, Alexis Hernandez from Fort Myers won 2nd Place, Jaimee Howes from Naples won 3rd Place, Jessica Nunez from Pembroke Pines won 4th Place and Emily Colas from Fort Myers won 5th Place. Cat Baxter from Fort Myers Beach won Fan Favorite.

Materiale also finished second the following day at the Hooters swimsuit contest in Sarasota. Earlier she had been named "Fan Favorite" in the Fort Myers competition.

Hooters Girl contestants will compete for the 2018 Miss Hooters International Title, which includes a $30,000 cash prize and a chance to serve as the face of the iconic brand. She will become a brand ambassador and spokesperson, travel to assist in international openings, appear in the national advertisements, and contribute to marketing initiatives and special events throughout the year.
