Greed and need are the weeds in America’s garden

March 9, 2018
Cape Coral Daily Breeze

To the editor:

The politicians that we elect are a mathematical sampling - a cross section - of ourselves, of our less-than-admirable selves, our Electorate.

There is absolutely no simple, quick or easy solution: We have got where we are via greed and neglect and the results persist like those stubborn weeds in your lawn. In fact, there may be no solution - lots of civilizations have vanished.

The biggest problem facing us is deciding what we want to be: Our forthcoming Automated Rulers may, of course, decide that for us.
