Estero 4, Mariner 0: Estero broke open a scoreless game in the top of the seventh, scoring four times. Hannah Holloway struck out nine in the loss for Mariner. Two of Estero's four runs were unearned.

Barron Collier 5, Bishop Verot 0: The Vikings were shut out on the road in their season opener.

North Fort Myers 7, Port Charlotte 5: North scored four runs in the top of the seventh, then held off a Port Charlotte rally in the bottom of the inning to take a road district win. Senior Nick Roch was 3-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored for the Red Knights, while Dominic Grim and Manny Rodriguez each was 2-for-3 with an RBI. Grim scored twice and Rodriguez once. Also with RBI were RJ Tejada, Bryce Adkins and Peyton Borque. Tejada had two stolen bases. Justin Betke pitched five innings, with Mason Russo and Bourque each working an inning of relief.

Gulf Coast 9, Mariner 3: Xzavien Torres was 2-for-3 for the Tritons. Donnie Goodman was the losing pitcher in relief of Louis Alberro. Colton Cormier and Colin Camarigg each had a three-run single for Gulf Coast.

Cape Coral 14, Immokalee 4: The Seahawks evened their record at 1-1 with a victory in Immokalee on Tuesday.
