More named Cape’s head football coach

February 20, 2018
Cape Coral Daily Breeze

Cape Coral High School has announced that Dale More has been selected as the new head football coach. Principal Jeff Spiro said More is the perfect fit.

"He is an enthusiastic, student-focused leader with infectious motivational abilities," Spiro said.

More is currently the varsity weight lifting coach for the Seahawks. He is also an educator on campus who has taught social studies, as well as students with exceptional needs.

Last season, More led the quarterbacks, wide receivers, special teams, kicking units and the strength and conditioning program for Cape Coral Head Coach Larry Gary. Gary esigned in December and the school started a statewide search for his successor.

Spiro says More brings "a wealth of football experience" to Cape Coral High School. He joined the Seahawk staff in 2016. He previously served as the head football coach at both Immokalee High School in Collier County and Cypress Lakes High School in Fort Myers.
