Mariner 8, North Fort Myers 0: The Tritons (21-6-0) led 2-0 at the half, then pulled away to advance to the District 3A-13 semifinals against Port Charlotte. Leo Perez had two goals and an assist for Mariner, Alex Franco a goal and an assist, and Eddie Reyes, Sebastian Lopez, Pedro Reyes, Jason Arias and TJ McKay all added goals for the Tritons. Port Charlotte routed Lemon Bay 9-4 on Monday.

Cape Coral defeated Island Coast (forfeit): The Seahawks (21-2-2) advanced to the District 3A-13 semifinals to face Dunbar on Wednesday. The Tigers defeated Cypress Lake 3-2 in their first-round match.

Bishop Verot 2, Gateway Charter 0: The Vikings (7-13-3) advance to meet host team LaBelle in the District 2A-12 semifinals on Tuesday. Oasis and Clewiston meet in the other semifinal.

Ida Baker 1, Lehigh 0: The Bulldogs (7-14) won their first-round match, and move on to play at Gulf Coast on Tuesday.

Boys Basketball

Cape Coral 77, South Fort Myers 50: Harwin Francois led the Seahawks (15-6) with 17 points and five assists, along with Bryan Markovich (15 points, four assists), James Gibson (10 points, six rebounds) and Malik Kaba (eight points). Cape Coral has a District 7A-10 game against Ida Baker on Tuesday.

Oasis 77, Evangelical Christian 55: Taylon Hutchins posted a triple-double with 15 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists as Oasis raised its record to 16-5 with a non-district win against ECS (10-13). Vlad Dorlys had 19 points and three steals, Gabe Casey contributed a double-double (15 points, 10 rebounds) along with three blocks, and Kyle Bethel scored 11 points. The Sharks are home against Cypress Lake on Thursday.

Girls basketball

Oasis 50, Evangelical Christian 48: Maddie Chaney led the Sharks (8-10) with 20 points and eight assists, while Aliyah Wilson had another double-double (12 points, 17 rebounds) to go with four blocks and three assists. Oasis plays at Cypress Lake on Thursday. ECS fell to 6-9.

Lehigh 55, Island Coast 30: Lehigh (14-8) dropped Island Coast's record to 7-13 on the year.
