Hogs and Air Dogs this weekend at Six Bends Harley Davidson

Ultimate Air Dogs, a national dock jumping company, is having a three-day dock jumping event, Hogs and Air Dogs, to benefit the Gulf Coast Humane Society, Friday through Sunday, Nov. 17-19, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, at Six Bends Harley Davidson, 9501 Thunder Road, Fort Myers.

Dogs from all over the state of Florida will be in Fort Myers to jump to help raise money for Gulf Coast Humane Society, a non-profit no kill shelter that runs solely

on donations.

Jumps will be happening Friday at 10 a.m., noon and 2 p.m. with a special game called Fetch It at 4 p.m.; Saturday at 10 a.m., noon and 2 p.m., with Chase It at 4 p.m.; and Sunday at 10 a.m.and noon, with Catch It at 2 p.m. with finals at 4 p.m.

There will be an above ground pool set up with a trailer also known as the dock brought in for this special event.

Vendors and sponsors from around the area will be at this event.

The Lee County Sheriff's Office will have a SWAT display, Motor unit display, Seat Belt Convincer, Sheriff's Canine Unit and special appearances from McGruff and Sparky the Fire Dog.

Speeding tickets will be issued to the dogs on the dock on Saturday from 2-5 p.m. by the Lee County Sheriff's Office Traffic Unit.

Th event is free for everyone to come and watch. Dogs are welcome as long as they are on a leash.
