Brent Rooker boomed his second first-inning three-run home run in as many nights to aid the Fort Myers Miracle (31-18) topple the Dunedin Blue Jays 9-6 Saturday night at Hammond Stadium.

The Blue Jays committed four errors in the first inning errors, five total.

The Miracle (31-18, 64-53) grabbed four unearned runs when a slew of errors plagued the Blue Jays and starter T.J. Zeuch (3-4). Zander Wiel reached on an error by Vladimir Guerrero Jr. that scored Jermaine Palacios. Rooker then sent a 431-foot blast to dead center off the batter's eye to give Fort Myers the 4-1 lead.

The Miracle added three more in the second to extend the lead to 7-1, capped by Jaylin Davis' two-out, two-run single.

Miracle starter Eddie Del Rosario lasted 4-plus innings as the Blue Jays plated all six of their runs in a different inning. They posted single tallies in innings 1, 3, 4, 5, 7 and 8. The highlight for the Jays came on Bo Bichette's second home run of the year.

Right-hander Williams Ramirez (3-1) fanned four in a relief effort. He got the Miracle out of their biggest jam when the bases were loaded with no one out by striking out Michael De La Cruz and inducing an inning-ending double play off the bat of Jake Thomas.
