Cape Coral apartment complex secures $33.5 million construction loan

Aileron Investment Management has secured a $33.5 million construction loan for the development of Uptown at Liberty Park, a $50 million, 320-unit apartment complex to be built at the intersection of Pine Island Road and Northeast 24th Avenue in Cape Coral. American Momentum Bank is funding $28.5 million and participant MidWestOne Bank is funding $5 million.

Joe Bonora, managing director of Tampa-based Aileron Investment Management, said the firm will begin delivering the first units in early 2018, and expects to have construction of Uptown at Liberty Park completed by October 2018. The property's manager, Orlando-based ZRS Manage-ment, will begin pre-leasing units later this year.

The apartment complex is part of a multiphase, mixed-use development project on a 32-acre site, which will also include a 131-unit assisted living and memory care facility, and approximately 25,000 square feet of retail space along Pine Island Road.

Huber receives instructor certification from Women's Council of Realtors in Cape Coral

Sandra Huber, real estate agent at Miloff Aubuchon Realty Group and 2017 president-elect for the Women's Council of Realtors in Cape Coral, has earned her certified instructor certification to teach WCR courses on networking and referrals.

Huber has been a long-time member of Cape WCR. As a newly certified instructor for the Networking and Referrals Building Business and Profit class, she teaches WCR members about networking techniques, how to build a successful referral database and how to utilize social media tools to better their business. This networking and referral class is one of the courses to achieve the Performance Management Network Designation a Realtor Designation recognized by the National Association of Realtors. She received her PMN designation in 2016.

GATES Construction begins work on new wellness center

GATES Construction has begun construction on a new wellness center at Gulf Harbour Yacht & Country Club, one of Southwest Florida's finest member-owned private country clubs. Located along the Caloosahatchee River in Fort Myers, the project consists of the complete demolition of the existing fitness center and then the re-construction of a new free standing, 2-story, 23,102-square-foot wellness center.
