Lee Health ranks in top 6 percent of America's 500 Best Employers

Lee Health is included among some of the world's most recognizable organizations, including Costco, Google, Mayo Clinic and Facebook, as part of Forbes magazine's "America's Best Employers 2017" list. Lee Health ranked 29 out of 500 large companies across the country, and is the eighth highest ranked health care provider and the second highest ranked organization in Florida.

According to the magazine, the rankings are the results of online surveys gathered from 30,000 U.S. employees, 84 percent of whom are employed full-time. The direct score, which determines a company's placement and title as a top employer, is derived from the question, "How likely are you to recommend your employer on a scale of 0 to 10?"

"We are very proud to be included among such prestigious, world-renowned companies," says Jon Cecil, Lee Health Chief Human Resources Officer. "Mea-suring the likelihood to recommend Lee Health as a good place to work is something that we include in our annual Employee Engagement Survey. We have seen steady increases in that area on the annual survey, and this national recognition further solidifies that we are creating the right, positive environment for our employees."
