U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Richard S. Rejonis

U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Richard S. Rejonis graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Rejonis earned distinction as an honor graduate.

He is the brother of David Carnes of San Diego, Calif. The airman is also the husband of Monika Zawadzka.

Rejonis graduated in 2008 from Fort Myers High School, Fort Myers, and earned a master's degree in 2013 from the University of North Florida, Jacksonville.
