Fischler Property Company facilitates closing of Skyline property

Fischler Property Company recently negotiated the sale of 1.38 acres of vacant, entitled land located at 2537 Skyline Boulevard in Cape Coral across from Home Depot, Firestone, 7-Eleven, Family Dollar and Bank of America.

The property is located near the southeastern corner of Veterans Parkway and Skyline Boulevard, a high-traffic intersection that reportedly sees more than 53,000 vehicles per day. The seller was Bank of the Ozarks. The purchaser, Downtowner Car Wash, will be expanding its footprint in the Cape and developing a new express car wash facility on the site.

Downtowner is processing construction plans for permit and expects to break ground in early 2017. Downtowner was represented in this transaction by Ted Campbell, PA of Southern Premiere Realty.

Fischler was also instrumental in the site-selection, entitlement approvals and land transaction for the new corporately-owned Firestone store located in front of Home Depot.

"Cape Coral commercial real estate continues to grow, which is good news for this city that is only 8 percent commercial versus 92 percent residential, while most cities are about 25 percent commercial," said Phil Fischler, founder of Fischler Property Co. "Commercial building permits in the city have been reported to be up 62 percent year after year, and the city's commercial tax base has increased from eight to 12 percent."
