The Florida Irrigation Society Southwest Chapter recently donated $3,000 to the Cape Coral Caring Center, money raised during various chapter activities and events throughout 2016. Since 1990, the nonprofit Caring Center has assisted tens of thousands of residents who do not have sufficient resources to maintain a suitable lifestyle.

The Southwest Chapter is a nonprofit dedicated to helping the statewide organization in promoting responsible irrigation and long-term sustainability of the Sunshine State's precious natural resources.

"Cape Coral Caring Center does such a great job for so many people who turn to them for help, they really make a difference in the community," said Rick Manley, Society president and director of irrigation at Juniper Landscaping of Florida LLC.
