The scholarship will be initially used during their first two-years at Georgia Military College. The remaining will be applied at a follow on four-year college Army ROTC program.

"Army ROTC scholarships will pay for tuition, fees, and books," said Brian Hamilton, Georgia Military College's Recruiting, Scholarship Enrollment and Operations Officer. "Georgia Military College pays for their room and board, so there's no cost to the cadets at all. Also, when they leave here to go get their bachelor's degree the Educational Assistance Program will pay for tuition, fees, books or room and board."

The cadets are currently participating in a mini camp at Georgia Military College before departing Thursday, June 23 to Fort Knox, Kentucky for a month long Cadet Initial Entry Training.
