Mother’s Day Raffle to support Kiwanis Community Service Projects

The Fort Myers Metro-McGregor Kiwanis is offering tickets for the club's annual Mother's Day Raffle. The raffle benefits the Fort Myers-Metro Kiwanis Club's BUG (Bringing Up Grades) Program, sponsored service leadership programs and other community service projects. Tickets are available for a suggested donation of $10 per ticket or three tickets for $25. Drawing will be held May 3.

If winner does not claim the prize by May 6, a new winner will be drawn until prize is claimed. Limit of 20 tickets per person. The Grand Prize is worth $1,725 and includes: 14k gold princess cut diamond necklace from Diamonds by Dianne, one dozen roses per month for one year courtesy of Ruth Messmer Florist, 10-piece box of Norman Love Confections gourmet chocolates, framed 30" x 20" art print (numbered) courtesy of Charles Dodson Insurance Agency and two tickets to Wizard of Oz at Broadway Palm.

* The second place prize is worth $800 and includes: UV HVAC purifier courtesy of Island Aire of Southwest Florida, 10-piece box of Norman Love Confections gourmet chocolates, 60-minute relaxation massage from Ty Brantley Massage, Obagi Blue Radiance skin peel by Natalie's Skin Solutions and $25 dinner gift certificate from Matanzas on the Bay.

* The third place prize is worth $285 and includes: $100 gift certificate courtesy of Pure Florida, 10-piece box of Norman Love Confections gourmet chocolates, spa manicure from Spada and oil change certificate courtesy of Tuffy Auto Service.

The Fort Myers Metro-McGregor Kiwanis BUG program is designed to provide recognition to local elementary students who raise their grades to an acceptable range and maintain or continue to raise them from one grading period to the next. The Fort Myers Metro-McGregor Kiwanis also supports may other community projects and service leadership programs, including K-Kids at Littleton Elementary School, Builders Club at Cypress Lake Middle School, Key Club at Florida SouthWestern Collegiate High School and Aktion Club at LARC, Inc.

The Metro-McGregor Kiwanis Club is looking for more service-minded individuals and business professionals who would like to make a direct impact on the community through volunteering.
