* Garden Club of Cape Coral

On Feb. 20, The Garden Club of Cape Coral has scheduled a bus tour to Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, Coral Gables, Florida. The trip is open to the public. Departure is at 7 a.m. from Coralwood Mall, Cape Coral, Florida and the bus will leave the Garden at 3 p.m. The cost: $53 - includes the bus and entrance to the Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden. Please make your check payable to Garden Club of Cape Coral and send to The Garden Club of Cape Coral, PO Box 152022, Cape Coral, Florida 33915. Deadline for Reservations: Jan. 30, and the cost is nonrefundable. Lunch may be purchased at the Garden Cafe which shares a wall with the new butterfly house or you may bring your own lunch. Narrated tram rides are available throughout the day to tour the garden.

Plans are well underway for another successful Annual March in the Park event on Saturday, March 12, and interested vendors are asked to contact Ginny Huffer at 239-257-2654.

The Garden Club of Cape Coral monthly meetings will be held at the Cape Coral Art League, 516 Cultural Park Boulevard, Cape Coral, Florida 33990. There is on-site parking. * Motor Club fundraiser

The SanCap Motor Club is hosting a fundraiser for the Sanibel Community House Saturday, Jan. 23, at the Sanibel Community House and neighboring city park, 2173 Periwinkle Way. The event will include a car show of 100 vintage, luxury, performance and special interest autos, an auction featuring select automobiles, boats and cycles, musical entertainment, a silent auction and auto related museum. It will also include a beer, wine and food garden.
