Lee County Community Development issues August permit report

During August, contractors pulled 85 permits to build single-family houses collectively valued at more than $19.5 million in unincorporated Lee County. That compares to 97 permits issued in July and 88 issued in August 2013, according to the Lee County Department of Community Development.

Also during August, 12 multi-family units were permitted, compared to 50 in July and 53 in August 2013.

General commercial activity was valued at more than $7.1 million for 21 permits, compared to $9.4 million in July and nearly $2.5 million in August 2013.

Lee County Community Development issued 3,421 permits of all kinds during August.

Lee County Community Development oversees planning, zoning, development and building services, environmental review, building inspection, and code enforcement for the unincorporated areas of Lee County.

LeeCorp Homes' announces

sale of 2014 Limited model

LeeCorp Homes has announced that the 2014 Limited manufactured home model has been sold. Built by Jacobsen Homes of Safety Harbor, Fla., the Limited is a 26-foot, 8-inch by 51-foot, 4-inch, 1,394 total square feet, three- bedroom, two-bath home.

The Limited is a split bedroom floorplan featuring an island kitchen. Other features include a garden tub, plus shower in the master bath, separate laundry room, marble window sills throughout and an upgraded insulation package.

The Limited series is a special series designed for economical homebuyers. The LeeCorp Limited model was priced in the low $70,000s, plus tax which includes delivery and complete installation on customer's improved manufactured homesite, AC/heat unit, skirting and steps.

The two-acre LeeCorp Homes Model Center is at 20251 S. Tamiami Trail in Estero. Models on premises are open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

DiNicola named Neal Communities' top sales leader for June

Neal Communities' sales associate Troy DiNicola was named top sales leader for June at the homebuilder's new single-family community of Canopy in Naples, announced Michael Greenberg, Southwest Florida Regional President. DiNicola was directly responsible for $1.2 million in sales.

A native of Southwest Florida, DiNicola has been in real estate for more than five years and has extensive experience in real estate sales, absorption and product analysis in various market segments. A member of the Naples Area Board of Realtors, he holds a Resort and Second Home Specialist designation by the National Association of Realtors.

Canopy will have 108-single-family homes ranging in size from 1,772 to 3,000 square feet under air, and will have lake and preserve views. Eight floor plans with exterior styles including Mediterranean and French Colonial offer two- and three-car garages. Homes are priced from the $300,000s.
