The Florida Everblades have agreed to contract terms with their 13th player for the upcoming season.
Forward Jason Wilson joined the Everblades Wednesday.
Wilson, 24, played 54 games last season with the Wichita Thunder of the Central Hockey League. The 6-foot-2, 205-pound winger played two seasons with the ECHL's Greenville Road Warriors (2011-13).
"Jason is a fast and well conditioned player," said Everblades coach Greg Poss. "He is coming off the final year of his entry-level contract, and he has high-end potential."
Wilson joins the roster for training camp with forwards Mitch Wahl, Chris Kushneriuk, Kyle Stroh, Alex Lavoie, Mike Cichy, Mike Silengo, Evan Bloodoff, and defensemen Mike Little, Jordan Henry, Tyson Gimblett, Cameron Burt, and Kevin Hart.
Individual game tickets for both preseason games with the Orlando Solar Bears (Oct. 10-11) and the first four home games of the regular season (Oct. 17-18, & Oct. 24, Nov. 4) with the South Carolina Stingrays and the Solar Bears go on sale at 10 a.m. today at the Germain Arena box office. Tickets start at just $11.
