Social activities and travel were important to Thelma; in fact she spent many enjoyable hours with her good friends and family playing cards, attending many local theater presentations, and having fun at the slot machines.
Genealogy was another passion of Thelma's and her extensive travels around the world allowed her to explore and record her family heritage. She was always busy and on the go, frequently, her children would have to check her calendar schedule for her whereabouts.
