LCSO searching for North Fort Myers man

The Lee County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating a 59-year-old North Fort Myers man.

Today at 11:15 a.m., the Lee County Sheriff's Office received a call about a missing man. The incident was reported from 4321 Pine Drop Lane, North Fort Myers. Deputies responded to the scene.

It has been learned Donald Eugene Rinehart walked away from his home sometime between 11 p.m. Wednesday and this morning at 12:15 a.m. and has not yet returned. Rinehart is slightly mentally handicapped and walks with a limp. His family is very worried about him.

Rinehart is a white male, 6-foot 1-inch tall, 140-150 pounds with brown eyes and gray short hair. He was last seen wearing unknown colored shorts and T-shirt. He might be headed towards East Naples, as he always talks about going back to where he used to live.
