Michael “Mickey” Christopher Digidio

Michael "Mickey" Christopher Digidio, 73, of Cape Coral died Thursday July 31, 2014, at Lee Memorial's Cape Coral Hospital. He was born in New York City Dec. 10, 1940, to Ernest and Mary Digidio. After graduating from James Monroe High School, Bronx, N.Y., he joined the U.S. Air Force and served honorably until 1968. He began his career with the U.S.D.A. as a meat inspector in 1968 and worked nationwide for over 30 years. He retired to Cape Coral in 1998 where he enjoyed fishing, boating and playing cards.

Survivors include his sister, Carolyn Iandoli, and three nephews, Joseph, John, and James Iandoli ,all of Cape Coral; and one niece, Gina(Michael) Benedetti of Palm City, Fla.

A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 7, at St. Andrew Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Coral Ridge Cemetery.
