Caesar Czajkowski, 67, of Cape Coral, formerly of Bucktown (Chicago), passed away Monday, July 28, 2014, at his home.
He was born April 23, 1947, to Mitchell and Helen Staszewska Czajkowski. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the U.S. Army and was awarded the Purple Heart and the Combat Infantryman Badge. He was a police officer with the City of Chicago, and retired after 25 years of service.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Deborah Wisniewski Czajkowski; brother, George (Margie) Czajkowski of Cape Coral; sister, Theresa; and many nieces.
Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m., today, Aug. 1, at Coral Ridge Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 2, at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church.
Burial with military honors will be at Coral Ridge Cemetery.
