June (Aurelio) Jamison

Loved dearly by family, church friends and neighbors, June (Aurelio) Jamison, 78, passed away of complications from pulmonary fibrosis at her home in North Fort Myers, July 4, 2014. She was a daughter of Gaetano Aurelio and Mary Diperno of Rochester, N.Y., born Nov. 16, 1935.

She leaves her loving husband of 45 years, Andrew; four children, Richard Ingraham (Judy) of Erial, N.J., Kathleen Ingraham of Macedon, N.Y., Alan Jamison (Rebecca) of Hollis, N.H., and Kenneth Jamison(Paula) of Pittsford, N.Y. She will be sadly missed by her much loved 8 grandchildren and 7 great- grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters, Carmelina Casale, Anne DeCamilla, and Elaine Pavone, all of Rochester, N.Y.

After her graduation from Nazareth Academy (Rochester, N.Y.) in 1953, she entered the Sisters of Saint Joseph, located on the campus of Nazareth College in Pittsford, N.Y. Upon leaving the order, she began her new life as a loving mother; she was employed by Rochester Telephone Corporation as an executive secretary and supervisor for 30 years. She retired to North Fort Myers in 1989 with her husband, Andrew.

She took great joy in working with the Altar Guild of All Souls Episcopal Church and volunteering in the church outreach mission each week.

A religious service for her internment will be at White Haven Memorial Park in Pittsford, N.Y.

A celebration of June's life will be held at All Souls Episcopal Church, North Fort Myers in the fall.
