Aldo Cinquini, 94, formerly of Bronx, New York, and Bergenfield, N.J., was born Sept. 20, 1919, in New York, N.Y., to his parents Mario and Olga (Bandini) Cinquini, and passed away June 23, 2014, in Cape Coral. He was a World War II veteran and a member of the Italian American Club, the Elks Lodge and former member of the Moose Lodge and American Legion.
Suvivors include his loving companion, Ruth Williams; sister, Ann (Chris) Chiarulli; nieces, Diane Chiarulli, Carol D'Auria, Donna D'Auria and Mary Walsh; and nephews, Robert Chiarulli, Mario D'Auria, Michael D'Auria and Thomas D'Auria.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean, and his sister, Rita Lipardo.
A visitation is scheduled for today, June 25, from 5-7 p.m., at Cape Coral's Fuller Metz Funeral Home, 3740 Del Prado Blvd., S. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, June 26, beginning at 10 a.m.
Interment of Aldo's urn will take place at a later date at the Florida National Cemetery to be placed with his wife, Jean.
