Estero Dog Park to temporarily close for repairs

June 13, 2014
Cape Coral Daily Breeze

The K-9 Corral Dog Park will be closed for three days starting Tuesday, June 17, to mulch and stabilize worn areas. The project will help dog owners and their pets as rainy season continues. The dog park is located inside Estero Community Park at 9200 Corkscrew Palms Blvd., Estero. The site is expected to re-open by Friday, June 20.

The K-9 Corral is a two-acre canine wonderland surrounded by large trees that offer shade for people and pups. Area dog-lovers bring their four-legged friends to recreate, exercise and socialize with other dogs. The newest feature of the park includes a dog wash area to clean up dogs before they get back in their owner's cars.
