Stanley S. "Butch" Wisniewski, aka "Sanibel Stan," 74, of Cape Coral, formerly of Stroudsburg, Pa., passed away Sunday, June 8, 2014, in Cape Coral. He was born March 20, 1940, in Wilmington, Del., to Stanley and Aurelia Wisniewski, now deceased.
Pending further arrangements, plans for celebrating his life will come in the next few months for local friends and family, and another memorial later this summer in the town of his birth Wilmington, Del.
He is survived by his four children, Stanley "Steve" Wisniewski, of Fort Myers, Joseph Alan Wisniewski (Tina) of Cape Coral, David Mark Wisniewski of Cape Coral and James Edward Wisniewski, also of Cape Coral; three sisters, Patricia Johnstone (David) of Ocean City, Md., Dorothy Edwards (David) of Wilmington, Del., and Marian Argentino (Harry) of Havre de Grace, Md.; two grandchildren, Brigitte Fagan and Brandy Garcia; three great-grandchildren, Gregory, Joseph and Aidan; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
