To the editor:
The Veterans Administration organization has disgraced America!
This failure does not include either the nurses or the doctors who should be recognized as conscientious, capable, and completely dedicated to the purposes and principles that have served to make America the greatest nation on earth. The shame centers around armies of disingenuous bureaucrats, who are useless, worthless, self-centered, insensitive morons - and who, for personal gain, think nothing of defaming America and are willing to step on our veterans while accomplishing their evil deeds.
These are the meat heads that need to be identified and held criminally accountable.
This is not a situation where resignations are in order. Make no mistake about it, crimes have been committed. Americans, our best and our bravest, have died, painfully as a result. If justice is to be served we need to see a list of these individuals, starting from the top, and arrests made immediately.
Bonuses and salaries need to be returned, waiting lists need to be destroyed, and every veteran needs to be attended to immediately.
Director Shinseki's resignation, if the situation wasn't so sad and serious, would be a joke. This represents massive mismanagement and failure. It's indefensible. It's sickening. And, it screams for accountability and appropriate punishment! Resignations, NO. Firings, absolutely YES!
And, neither President Obama or the United States Congress should engage in endless and meaningless babbling. We demand immediate action and if one mor hero dies, while our elected officials are playing in the mud no amount of political gamesmanship will be acceptable.
It's time to do the right thing and a delay will only serve to make it worse.
