The Florida Stingrays are back in the playoffs after a regular season campaign during which they compiled a 9-1 record.
They accomplished their first goal of winning the United Football Federation's Southern Division title, but after losing in the United Cup Championship last season to the Brooksville Ballers 34-31, the Stingrays believe there is only one way to finish this season. By winning it all.
The Rays begin their quest at 7 p.m. on Saturday at Ruttenberg Park. Coming off a first-round bye in the playoffs, the Stingrays collide with the Tampa Bay Patriots (9-2) in the Southern Conference semifinal round.
The Patriots are coming off a 64-6 destruction of the West Coast Soldiers in the wild-card round of the playoffs last week and look to spoil the Stingrays plans this weekend.
The Stingrays have partnered with Caleb's Crusade to help raise awareness for Childhood Cancer. Caleb's Crusade is a local non-profit on a mission to raise awareness for childhood cancer, advocate, and financially help local families whose children are fighting cancer.
