CCCIA to address lien laws June 12

Lee BIA to host two-day continuing education credit workshop

The Lee Building Industry Association, in conjunction with the Continuing Education Academy, will host a two day Continuing Education Credit Seminar Wednesday, June 4, and Thursday, June 5, at Wayne Wiles Floor Coverings Showroom in Fort Myers, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Contractors have the opportunity to complete all 14 hours of state required CEUs.

The workshop is free to BIA members and $75 per day for non-members. Early registration is strongly suggested because seats are limited.

Lindsford community scheduled

to open for sales in July

D.R. Horton's Southwest Florida Division has announced that the new community of Lindsford is scheduled to open for sales in July. Located off Winkler Avenue in Fort Myers, Lindsford offers new single-family homes within a gated community close to I-75, U.S. 41 and the historic River District of downtown Fort Myers.

Fourteen home plans are available in Lindsford, ranging from approximately 1,585 to 4,377 square feet of living space, with prices starting in the $200s. J.L. Wallace completes

tenant improvement construction at First Street Center

J.L. Wallace Inc. has completed a tenant improvement for TSN, LLC at the First Street Center in downtown Fort Myers across from the new Public Library.

Construction consisted of the renovation of existing shell space to accommodate the needs of Terry S. Nelson, Attorney. This space is a class "A" office providing three large offices, conference and break rooms, reception and waiting area within 1,550 square feet. The interior finishes consist of solid wood trim and doors, Travertine floors and acoustical ceilings.

Ted Gadoury served as project manager with Robbyn Spears as senior project manager assistant and Dennis Tyeryar as project superintendent. Architectural design services were provided by Jason P. Tramonte Architect.

Over 70 percent of homes

in Villa Palmeras sold

More than 70 percent of the homes at Neal Communities' Villa Palmeras in Estero have been sold less than a year since construction began, announced Michael Greenberg, Southwest Florida Regional President. The new gated community just south of Corkscrew Road on Three Oaks Parkway offers paired villa homes from the mid $200s. Closings are ongoing.
