The Miracle began the scoring with a run in the first inning off Jupiter starter Austin Brice. Aderling Mejia and Travis Harrison began the inning with back-to-back singles putting runners on the corners. Jorge Polanco then hit a grounder to third. Colin Moran made a diving stop and threw out Polanco, but Mejia scored from third, 1-0.
Jupiter tied the game in the fourth inning. With one out, Austin Barnes doubled into left field. Coin Moran followed with a single to put runners on the corners. Jesus Solorzano then lifted a broken bat single into center field to bring in a run and tie the game, 1-1.

Then, Matt Juengel cranked a 1-1 pitch off the wall in right center for a triple to bring home Dayleg. The next hitter, Viosergy Rosa, grounded out to first to score Juengel and spot the Hammerheads a 3-1 lead.
After six innings allowing just one run on five hits with one walk and two strikeouts, Brice (3-3) exited the game. Jheyson Manzueta pitched a scoreless seventh in relief and Joseph O'Gara recorded the final six outs for his sixth save of the season.
