"Coloring the Earth" art contest today at Cape Library

The Friends of the Cape Coral Library, as well as the Cape Coral/Lee County Library host the ninth annual "Coloring the Earth" art contest today, May 7, at 6 p.m. at the Cape Coral Library. Participants, age seven to 12 are from all across Lee County and will be judged on their research, understanding and artistic presentation of "The Fauna and Flora of the Caloosahatchee: Our River, Our Hatchee." A scientific slide presentation will be part of the awards ceremony. In addition to prizes, the artwork by award winners will be displayed in the Cape Coral Library throughout the month of May.
