Annie Christine Wischerth, 82, a Cape Coral resident since 2007, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2014. She was born Dec. 24, 1931, in McHenry, Miss., to Emmett and Delia Hickman, now deceased.
She received her bachelor degree in criminology from the University of Pittsburgh. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, very generous in giving to many charitable causes and an avid gardener.
She is survived by five beloved children, Georgia Thibodeau of Cape Coral, Toni (Danny) Halvatzis of Cape Coral, Donna (John) Carlucci of Stamford, Conn., Margaret (James)Koop of Alpharetta, Ga., and John Wischerth of Clearwater, Fla.; two siblings, Davis Hickman and Ruby Jean Hickman; 10 grandchildren, Christopher, Richard, Jennifer, Ashley, Dana, Alex, Kristen, Kelly, Courtney and Anthony; and three great-grandchildren, Zachary, Jace and Madison.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Edward Wischerth, in 2007.
Private memorial services were held in Cape Coral Saturday, April 26.
