Cape Coral High's boys are headed to the tennis regional playoffs after capturing the District 2A11 title Tuesday in Avon Park.
Cape advances to the region 2-A6 meet next week with No. 1 singles player senior Robbie Greenlaw heading straight to the state meet April 14 in Orlando by winning the singles title.
Greenlaw and fellow senior Sam Johnson also advance directly to the state doubles meet by virtue of winning the district title.

Ida Baker's boys captured the District 3-11 runner-up spot behind Fort Myers to qualify for the regional round. Individually, Chris Carrillo won the No. 5 singles district title.
The Seahawks will host a first-round regional match on Tuesday while Baker travels to Barron Collier for its regional match.
Mariner 8, Gulf Coast 5: Kaylyn Friday pitched a complete game and Felicia Rice contributed a double Wednesday night as Mariner defeated Gulf Coast.
Friday (8-8) allowed five base hits and struck out one. The Tritons, on the other hand, took advantage of nine walks and four batters hit by pitches to gain the momentum after Gulf Coast scored the game's first run.
